Effects of blood sample stored time on analysis results by automatic blood cell analyzer.

Objective To study the effects of blood sample stored time on analysis results by automatic blood cell analyzer.Methods The vein blood of 30 examined persons was collected and the nights blood corpuscle parameters were determined within 20 minutes.The remanent blood samples were divided two groups,one was stored in 18～25℃ and another in 2～4℃.Then,all parameters were determined at 2 h,4 h,6 h,8 h,10 h respectively.The results within 20 min were selected as the control group and all results in other time were compared with them.Results In 18～25℃,the difference between nights blood cell parameters in 2 h,4 h,6 h groups and in the control group was not obvious;MCV,HCT in 8 h group were significantly higher than that in the control group,P 0.05;PLT in 10 h group was obviously lower than that in the control group,P 0.01.In 2～4℃,PLT in 8 h,10 h groups was significantly lower than that in the control group,P 0.05 or P 0.01;the other parameters in all groups were not variational evidently.Conclusion For ensuring the reliability of results,it was finished within 6 h that blood cell parameters were determined by this analyzer.
