On the Study of the Official Historiography in Qing Dynasty and Its Academic Extension

The official historiography in Qing Dynasty is an important research subject in the development of the historiography in Qing Dynasty and the social history,The further study of the official historiography can reveal such contradictory relations as interaction,complementation,and repulsion between official historiography and private historiography. The significant academic break-through can be achieved by extending this idea to the study of entire history of Chinese ancient official historiography. The comparison between the operating mechanism of Chinese official historiography and Western historiography which lacks official activities in historiography can lead to the exploration of the emergence and development laws of historiography.
