Causes of Making Mistakes in Decision- Making and Ways to Avoid Them

At present,mistakes in decision-making in the country are primarily manifested in making decisions only based on the will of superiors or experience,in bureaucracy and low efficiency and in seeking quick success and instant benefits.These mistakes mainly result from high centralization of power and closure of the decision-making system,low caliber of some cadres,and failing in using modern theories of decision-making and advanced information technology.In order to avoid these mistakes,we should innovate on and perfect the administrative system of decision-making,making administrative decision-making scientific,democratic and legal;organize a contingent of high-efficient cadres for decision-making,improving the decision-making capacity of administrative organs;and accelerate the assimilation of modern scientific result,improving the quality of decision-making and promoting its efficiency.
