Abstract
In the case of over-the shoulder, only angle information of rear target is available. A practical guidance method which can realize angle-acquisition and distance-acquisition target at the same time was proposed to improve the probability of target acquisition. Using the target angle information,a virtual target related with the detection range of IR seeker was introduced to guide the missile to fly to the real target by proportional navigation guidance. The effect of IR seeker detection range on the performance of the virtual target proportional navigation guidance is analyzed and the effectiveness of the guidance law is proved by simulation.
