Electronic money is a revolution of payment and will be the main financial instrument in the 21st century whereas crime laundering does great harm to modern society. The features of electronic money such as its invisibility, speed and secretiveness are of great advantage to the crime of laundering and greatly challenge the traditional anti-laundering system. Therefore, we should restrict the issuance of electronic money and initiate a security system for it so as to prevent the crime of laundering.
