Abstract
Based on experiment data and meteorological data,we analyzed the character of configuration and water consumption of flue-cured tobacco in different water level. The results showed that the plant height and leaf area were increased obviously with the increasing of soil relative water content at various growing stages. The dry matter content and distribution was complicatedly affected by soil water, which had a little effect on the number of leaves. It was also found that water use efficiency (WUE) of treatment W2 in all disposal combination is the highest. In the whole growing period of tobacco plant, the change of evapotranspiration had a single-peak curve. With the adding of soil water content, the evapotranspiration and soil evaporation were increased. The water consumption of tobacco was related to yield through a binomial function.
