Abstract

Diachronically, the bronze culture of the ancient Shu,represented by Sangxindui, has exerted great influences on different regions along the South Silk Road. The influences particularly find expressions in bronze statues and animals, triangular?bronze dagger-axe,sacred tree, bronze tree-like instruments, bronze scepters, bronze collared disc, bronze patterns of sun and sun worship ceremonies. These cultural items spread southward along the South Silk Road, clashing and getting integrated with other southwest bronze cultures, which,to a large extent, influences the development of the bronze culture of the southwest area as a whole.
