Abstract
Along with the change in mentality in running forestry,the investment in forestry infrastructure has increased a great deal.By the end of 2000,such investment had approached 977 million RMB.This kind of government purchase must have brought about different effects owing to the diversity in investment.The paper discusses the formation and development of the investment funds,analyses the direct and ultimate benefits of the investment in different fields,and proposes some measures for increasing benefits from investment in forestry infrastructure through program selection,optimization,and management.
