Abstract
Three year-old seedlings of Pinus thunbergii were inoculated with disinfected Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, the bacteria isolates from its body and the mixture of the two former respectively in this experiment to compare their effects on the pine wilt disease. The results showed that the seedlings inoculated with only the bacteria isolates did not wilt, while those inoculated with the disinfected B.xylophylus or their mixtures wilted and died.So the bacteria accompanying with B.xylophilus played a little role in the pathogenesis of wilt disease.
