Abstract

Form October 2008 to February 2009,117 specimens of Acheilognathus chankaensis were measured which were collected from Jialing River,a branch of Yangtze River.One-way analysis of variance(ANOVA) showed that there were no differences between male and female in body length/body height,body length/head length,head length/snout,length.Length-Weight Relationship and Fullness index indicated that when the body length grew up to 8 cm,the weight growth of females would be faster than that of males.In the same body-length group,the fullness index of females was higher than males.
