Abstract
Using the panel data from 1995 to 2010 of the 29 provinces in China,a regression model about the relation between agricultural information services and agricultural productivity growth is established.The results show that agricultural productivity growth is not high and influenced mainly by technological progress;in the entire sampling period,whether measured by expenditure on transportation and communication or television sets per 100 households,agricultural information services have promoted the agricultural productivity,but the degree and direction of influence is different at different periods of time;and the influence of human capital on agricultural productivity growth is not significant.
