On the Evolution of Shen Zhou's Calligraphy Style

Abstract

This paper focuses on the diachronic study of the evolution of Shen Zhou's calligraphy style,which is compaared with that of Lin Pu and Huang Tingjian's calligraphy,demonstrating Lin's influence upon his early style and Huang's influence unpon his later style.In addition,a brief analytical study has been made of the masterpieces of Shen Zhou's calligraphy.
