Abstract
Briefly discusses the background of green design,the ultimate goal of the green design is to protect the ecological environment;introduce the concept of green design and the relationship between the green design and the traditional design,and points out the similarities and differences between the two methods of design,analyzes of the meaning of green design and explans the green design steps,in end of the article expresses prospects for green design.
