Abstract
More fine interpretation model has to be developed to resolve the problems such as low precision and poor adaptability in routine logging interpretation models for low porous and permeable reservoirs. In low permeability reservoir, the petrophysical faces have great controlling effect on the forming of lithology reservoir and distribution of water and oil.The same petrophysical face has similar lithology, physical property, pore structure and logging response characters.Based on the reservoir's geologic classification,we divided shan-2 reservoir in Yulin gas field of Erdos basin into three petrophysical faces by mathematical method. Then we established different logging interpretation models and standards all identifying gas zones for each category. Thus we transform inhomogeneous and nonlinear problems into homogeneous and linear problems. The application showed that the interpretation agreement rate of gas zone has increased by 17 percent,up to 87 percent.According to the new standards all three oil-testing wells gained industrial airflow again.
