Abstract
Objective: To select the obesity susceptibility genes and discuss their influence on obesity, providing evidence for curing obesity. Methods: Searching the obesity-related genes in the database of NCBI and EBI and some other public database,we analyzed the obesity-related genes on the aspect of bioinformatics and some related software. Finally,we selected some obesity genes which directly regulate lipid metabolism as candidate genes according to their function and made some discussions. Results: 233 obesity-related genes were selected,11 of which directly regulate the synthesis and breakdown of lipid according to their functions, and the rest of which regulate obesity in other tissues playing various roles. Conclusions: obesity, which is not caused by single gene mutation,is multi-gene regulated. Some genes interact with others while others interact with the environment in regulating obesity.
