Abstract
Charitable donation is an important supplement to social security system and can reduce income gap and relief social conflicts.But owing to its public-goods feature,it lacks for private providers,especially in China.To increase the public donation level is an affair of profound consequence of the establishment of harmonious society.Through experimental data,the paper analyzes the determinants of charitable donation and provides three pieces of suggestion,namely,the emphasis on interest compensation and praises of donors,the improvement of information disclosure of charitable organizations and the increase of the communication between charitable organizations and the public.
