Abstract

Reviewed briefly the progressive process in geologic study and development techniques in Daqing oilfield,reservoir fine description,residual oil description,development adjustment,drawing up planning,low permeability reservoir development, numerical simulation,polymer flooding,alkaline/surfactant/polymer (ASP) flooding and microbial oil recovery techniques,etc.are summarized in this paper.Based on the analyzed data in development and requirements in Daqing oilfield development techniques at the initial of the 21st century,reservoir characterization,residual oil description,improving water flooding development effects in high water cut stage,further enhanced oil recovery and low permeability reservoir development techniques need to be solved in the oilfield development are prospected.
