Analysis of the Training Characteristics of the Professional Science Master's in America

Abstract

The Professional Science Master's(PSM)is an innovative graduate degree of American graduate education.This paper summarizes and analyzes the compositeScience Plus curricula system,the combined campus-off campus teaching organization and the dual curricula-program educational requirements of PSM in America.In view of promoting the development of the professional graduate education in China,this paper points out that we should focus on expanding the scope of the professional graduate education,pay more attention to build independent course system with professional graduate education traits,and effectively advance the cooperation of the government,industries,research institutes and universities.
