Abstract
Fluoroqunolones are clinically used as antimicrobial agents. The review is focused on the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) characteristics of fluroqunolones in vitro and in vivo models, i.e., animal and human studies. The clinical significance of the PK/PD and bacterial resistance to fluroqunolones are addressed.
