Realization of Control of Serial Port and Parallel Port in Virtual Instrument

Abstract

A way to control serial port and parallel port in LabVIEW is introduced in this paper. The structure of serial port and parallel port is analyzed first,then the control programs are given according to the difference between serial and parallel port. The use of parallel and serial port are diferrent:the former is suitable for status information and the latter for data delivery.
