Abstract
The 100,000 m3tanks were used widely in the field of crude oil storage, and their intensity came to more important. Finite element software ANSYS was adopted to analyze the 100,000m3 largescale floating crude oil tank with the topmost hydraulic state, and the stress distribution of all parts of the tank was obtained. The assessment for the tank’s stress was done, according to the analysis design code, and the key part was determined. The results of the intensity assessment showed that the tank was safe in the topmost hydraulic state.
