Abstract
[Objective]To explore the epidemiological characteristics of foodborne disease outbreaks in Dalian City,provide the strategy and measures for disease prevention and control. [Methods]The study formulated the standard of foodborne disease outbreaks,and established a database by using the data of foodborne disease outbreaks,to analyze the epidemiological characteristics.[Results]A total of 108 foodborne disease outbreaks were reported in Dalian City in 2013,involving 1 043 patients and 7 death cases. The peak season was July to August,which the outbreaks accounted for 84. 3% of the total outbreaks. 83. 3% of outbreaks occurred in restaurants and households. The high-risk group was local inhabitants,accounting for 47. 2%. The major pathogenic factor was microorganism,accounting for 61. 1%. [Conclusion]In order to reduce the incidence of foodborne disease in Dalian City,it is necessary to strengthen the supervision in small and medium size restaurants,improve the publicity and education about prevention of food poisoning caused by microorganism and wild mushroom.
