Analyze the Foundation of City Logistics Centers with GIS

As the national economy and productivity's growth,the demand of moving and exchanging materials sharply increases,and the logistics technology continuously makes progress,so does the logistics network.In addition,the city logistics system gradually changes from scattered routes to the form of logistics centers——centralizing/dispersing,in order to realize the high efficiency and intensivism of city logistics system and alleviate the traffic tension,we should use proper planning methods,sources and tools to establish logistics centers and corresponding network according to special cases of each city.This article proposes to use one of the basic functions of GIS,combining the graphs and data,to assist to analyze the factors of founding a city logistics center,and gives some advice on the model of positioning logistics centers.
