Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to study the oscillation of third-order nonlinear neutral damped functional differential equations with continuous deviating arguments and a damping item.By using the generalized Riccati transformation, integral averaging technique and differential inequalities,we establish some new sufficient conditions which insure that any solution of such equation oscillates or converges to zero. The corresponding results in known literatures are extended and improved.
