Abstract
Apple alternaria leaf spot,Alternaria mali Roberts, had developed to be one of the most important plant diseases in Shaanxi.Five fungicides were tested in field for controlling the disease in 2006~2007.The results showed that all of the fungicides have a good control against the disease when sprayed with the recommendatory concentrations.Hexaconazole 30% SC 85 g/hm2,difenoconazole 10% ME 85 g/hm2 and the mixture of propineb-carbendazim 70% WP 1700 g/hm2,gave an efficacy more than 80 per cent in the period of autumn-growth and all growing season. The controlling effects of the protective fungicides, mancozeb 80% WP1360 g/hm2 and propineb 70% WDG 1487.5 g/hm2,were relatively low.
