Abstract
This Paper describes the incidence and prevalence of acute communicable diseases and non communicable diseases in Shanghai.It demonstrates that communicable diseases have been well controlled,but its potential risks remain while non communicable diseases are becoming the main threats to the people’s health.The paper proposes some suggestions for the policy making.
