Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of renal ischemia reperfusion on renal function and renal vascular responsibility in rats. Methods Isolated perfused kidney (IPK) was used to examine the effects of renal ischemia reperfusion on renal vascular resistance (RVR), glomerular filtration rate (GFR), fractional excretion of sodium (FENa) and renal vascular responsibility. Results (1)renal ischemia reperfusion resulted in increase of RVR, decrease of GFR and increment of FENa(all P0.05); (2)renal ischemia reperfusion decreased the renal vascular responsibility to NE and Ach. Conclusion Renal ischemia reperfusion can damage renal function and reduce renal vascular responsibility.
