Function of Plant Measures in Soil and Water Conservation

Soil erosion is one of the important environmental problems in today's society,especially for some arid regions. Therefore,we must pay attention to the problem of soil erosion control and to strengthen all aspects of soil and water conservation efforts. At present,soil and water conservation, engineering measures and plant measures are generally used. Among them,plant measures can not only retain water,conserve water and soil conservation,but also plays an important role in improving the ecological environment and enhancing economic benefits. The plant measures for soil and water conservation include water conservation forest,afforestation,soil protection,water and soil conservation construction of forest grass planting etc. Soil erosion and soil and water conservation work are analyzed, and also the basic measures for the work are generalizes,and the vegetation measures in soil and water conservation function are mainly analyzed in the paper.
