Abstract
The prestressed lattice structure is a new type of structural form.The tangent stiffness matrix of the spatial cable element would be introduced in the process of nonlinear analysis in the calculation of this type of structure.In this paper,the element tangent stiffness matrix of spatial fold cable element under initial stress condition and nonlinear simultaneous equations for finite element method which can be used in nonlinear analysis and calculation of prestressed lattice structures are developed by studying the prestressed cable element.All of the formulas are orderly and easy to be coded in computer programs.
