Abstract
With the tremendous increase of automobile quantity in China,collision accident takes place frequently.Automotive occupant restraint system can significantly reduce occupant injury in the collision.In this article,the definition and composition of occupant restraint system are introduced.The structure,type,protection efficiency,working principle of system key parts such as safety belt,airbag,seat,etc.which are commonly used in many nations,and the latest technology of this system are mainly described.
