Mao Zedong,in the book,On The Issues Of Correctly Handling The Internal Contradictions Among the People,raises and expounds systematically the doctrine of the socialist social contradictions and the theory of handling internal contradictions among the people.These theories such as social transition,recognizing the internal contradictions among the people,guarding against the transformation of non-antagonistic contradictions into antagonistic contradictions,overcoming bureaucracy and achieving harmony between cadres and the masses,etc.,should be inherited and advocated in the course of constructing the socialist harmonious society today.As for those issues of solving the internal contradictions among the people,understanding the main social contradiction,the distinction of two different contradictions and the methods to settle the issues,we should develop and innovate the theory on the basis of reference to it.
