Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with Traditional Chinese medicine on allergic rhinitis. Methods 70 patients with allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into two groups.40 patients in treatment group were treated by acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine (Yupingfengsang);30 patients in control group were treated by ketotifen, with a treatment course of 6 weeks for both groups. Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 92.5%,which was 73.3% in control group. There was a significant difference between two groups (P0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine has a definite therapeutic effect on allergic rhinitis.
