Abstract

The GIS technology was applied to design and develop the mining area environment support decision information system.The SuperMap Objects 5.3 and SQL Server2000 data bank management system with the relevant programming languages were applied to the information system.The paper stressed the discussion on the general structure and functions of the information system and the practical technology of the technology.The integration problem between the special space data and the attribute data solved could provide the strong support to the management and visualization,management office support decision of the mining area environment information.
