Abstract
Based on the analysis of slope stability and computer simulation, this paper discusses the use of the method of analogy to obtain parameters affecting the loading efficiency of the screw loading machine in horizontal coal bin.The analogy criterions and equations are built by dimension analysis, simulated coal test parameters are established and the efficiency of loading coal using the drum is determined by the application of the orthogonal experimental methods. The analysis of the test results establishes the extent to which the efficiency of loading coal is affected by the three factors, such as haulage velocity, axial lean vanes and rotational speed and offers the best combination.
