Abstract
In the history of the development of Chinese education and culture,the educational ideas of Confucian and Taoist constitute the two main parts.Although the educational ideas of Confucianism and Taoism are opposed in terms of teaching contents and teaching methods,they of confrontation,there are complementary in educational philosophy and purpose.China's education and culture should actively learn from the essence of the educational ideas of Confucianism and Taoism.
