Abstract
Based on the quarterly data from 1990 to 2010 between China and the United States,the author analyzed the dynamic relationship between the real exchange rate and Sino-US trade.The results show that RMB real exchange rate affect Sino-US trade balance significantly,but the influence is lower than the US GDP and China's GDP.And there is a clear J-curve effect between Sino-US trade.According to the results,the author puts forward the suggestions of adjusting economic structure and export structure,expanding free-floating RMB exchange rate and so on.
