Abstract
Based on the agricultural land classification,the connotation of cultivated land productivity was analyzed and the theoretical system of cultivated land productivity and potential productivity was stated,and then calculation method of cultivated land productivity and potential productivity is discussed in different levels.Taking Tumotezuo Banner of Inner Mongolia as an example,the cultivated land productivity and potential productivity were calculated,the spatial distribution rule of cultivated land was discussed,and the cultivated land potential productivity was analyzed.The results showed that the Mid-South area whose natural condition was better was the major area for the protection of cultivated land.
