Abstract

The paper introduces the construction features of undevelopable ruled surface integral impeller and two 5-Axis numerical control mill machining methods of vane shape which are line contact (flank milling) and point contact. The author analyzes the error reason caused by flank milling, the different working steps during machining and special processing of precision machining for thin vanes. The paper provides a corresponding solution finally. It should be practical use for integral impeller numerical control machining.
