Abstract
Based on the present Tourism Destination Competitiveness evolution index system. A complete set of measurable indicators is established, which includes 25 Tourism Destination Competitiveness evaluation index system libraries. Based on the data of Anhui Statistical Yearbook 2012, the paper applies the integrated method of Principle Component-Clustering Analysis to rank and cluster the Tourism Destination Competitiveness of 16 cities in Anhui Province. The results demonstrate that Anhui Tourism Destination Competitiveness showing a distribution pattern which is the south is more competitive than the north. On this basis, 16 cities are divided into four types: Competitiveness Powerful-oriented cities, Competitiveness Strong-oriented cities, Competitiveness Generally-oriented cities and Competitiveness Less-oriented cities. And according to various types of cities, the paper proposes appropriate tourism development strategies.
