Abstract
With reference to the documents concerned by other famous authors,and with the all-around grasp of the unique discourse in Wenxindiaolong(carving a dragon out of rethoric and words) by Liu Xia,this paper,by integrating its concrete context,analyzese in order the connotations of style,spirit,soul,rethoric and floweriness and their mutual relationship,and proposes that there is a close relationship between the author' life and his works' spirit.
