Abstract
Mobile IPv6(Internet Protocol Version 6) is a new generation of internet mobile communication protocol, and has been adopted and popularized by 3G(Third Generation) standard framework with its definition coming into being. But it also has brought a series of new security problems because of its mobility,Wireless link, and complexity. It reveals the security vulnerabilities of mobile IPv6 from its working mechanisms, and summarizes its own security measures.Among those,IPSec(Internet Protocol Security) has been introduced into mobile IPv6 and enforced as a sort of security mechanisms. It emphasizes the problems on the combine of IPSec and mobile IPv6,and states pertinently two prioritization schemes of IPSec used in mobile IPv6.
