Management System of SAN Storage Resource in IP-SAN

Abstract

This article gives a design method of the software system which can manage kinds of storage resource using different protocals in IP-SAN. This method is to devide whole IP-SAN storage management system to two layers.The upper layer is called IP-SAN management system, which can manage all storage resources of enterprises or organizations with centralized way, and the low layer is callled SAN storage management system, which can manage the storage resource using the same protocal. This layer supplies many interfaces for the upper layer, then IP-SAN management system can realize its function through these interfaces. This article emphasizes on the low layer.
