Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effect of oral health education programme on oral health status of patients.Method: 103 patients were involved in the research.The experimental group with 53 patients,and the control group with 50 patients.Oral health education sessions were conducted for the experimental groups,these patients were taught about oral health knowledge and manual ways,and no action for the control group during three months.Result: After 3 months,the OH I-S results of experimental group were more significantly improved than control group,and PCR and BOPR results were also significantly improved.Conclusion: Oral health education programme was effective to improve the oral health status of patients.
