Abstract
Key Agreement protocols should provide enough security, and the computation cost of them should be as low as possible. An ID-based authenticated key agreement protocol BAKAP(ID-Based Authenticated Key agreement Protocol)is proposed in this paper. This protocol provides some security properties such as known key security, perfect forward secrecy, key-compromise impersonation,unknown key-share resilience and key control. In the proposed protocol, each party is required to perform two elliptic curve point multiplications and one evaluation of the pairing. BAKAP has advantages over other protocols in the moderate computation cost,and therefor is quite practical.
