Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of stellate ganglion block for treatment of vascular headache. Methods Fourty patients suffering from vascular headache,right side in 26 cases,left side in 9 cases and double sides in 5 cases,were treated by stellate ganglion block. 7-10 ml of 1% lidocaine was injected,1 time per day, 12 times injection as a treatment course. Results At the end of one treatment course the excellent as well as good effects was in 35 cases and the effective rate was 87. 5% for 40 cases. Conclusion Stellate ganglion block with 1% lidocaine is very effective and recommended to treat vascular headache.
