Abstract
Within the scope of thinking paradigm, the history of the development of the western philosophy can be divided into two thinking modes: one is the mode of ontology whose main interest is to pursue the everlasting entity and the transcendental nature of the outside world;the other is the thinking mode of practice whose main interest is in the significance and value of the real life. The essence of Marxist philosophical revolution lies in the fact that it has realized a fundamental transformation of thinking mode, that is,from ontology to practice.
