The Effects of Carbon Sequestration Market on the Development of Forestry Economy

Global climate change increasingly becomes the hot focus. Forestry carbon sequestration is currently one effective way to response to the climate change. The paper analyzes the elements of forest carbon sequestration market,which was thought as a kind of policy guiding,demand driven market,different stakeholders have a certain degree of particularity on supply and demand of carbon sink products. The author puts forward some suggestions to deal with climate change and to improve forest carbon sequestration in China,including exploring the platform of the carbon sink forestry,internalization of forest managerial externalities,and accelerating the financial innovation of forest carbon sequestration.
