Analysis on T lymphocyte level in patients infected with HBV/HIV and HIV/HBV co-infected

Objective To quantitatively and qualitatively analyse the CD3~+/CD4~+/CD8~+T lymphocyte level of patients infected with HBV or HIV,and polyinfected with HBV and HIV.Methods The flow cytometry was used to measure CD3~+/CD4~+/CD8~+ and CD4~+/CD8~+ ratio of 31 patients infected with HBV,46 patients infected with HIV,14 patients polyinfected with HBV and HIV and 18 normal controls.Results All markers of HIV/HBV polyinfection group,HIV infection group,HBV infection group and normal control group had statistics differentiations with each other(F=50.67,F=46.06,F=16.13,F=92.51,P0.01);Quantity of CD3~+ cells showed that HIV/HBV groupHIV groupHBV groupnormal control(P0.01),quantity of CD4+ cells was HIV/HBV groupHIV groupHBV groupnormal control(P0.01),while quantity of CD8~+ cells was HIV groupHBV groupnormal control(P0.01).D4~+/CD8~+ ratio is invert,HIV/HBV,HIV groupHBV groupnormal control(P0.01).Conclusion The detection of absolute quantity of CD4~+ cells and CD4~+/CD8~+ ratio maybe important in evaluating immune condition,progression and prognosis of patients infected with HIV.moveover,polyinfected with HBV and HIV may hurt the patients immune fundtion more serious.
