Abstract
This paper studies method of external investigation in updating land use information with remote sensing data,taking the city of Yanshi.As the foundational work of the investigation,firstly,high precision maps are drawn.Secondly,the optimum path of the investigation is chosen by dynamic programming.Finally,the all-sided investigations are carried out so as to get the full and accurate and credible first-hand information.
