Abstract

The nonlinear regression model of the vibration of the superstructure cabins of large container ship is established based on Support Vector Machine,using RBF kernel function and taking the vibration of one container ship′s superstructure cabins as the training sample,and the vibration of some cabins of the ship′s superstructure is predcted in this paper.Moreover,in order to improve the generalization of the model the switching coefficient is constituted by means of analyzing the vibration characteristic of superstructure.The model is applied to predict the vibration of another container ship′s superstructure cabins.The result shows that it is feasible to predict the vibration of the superstructure cabins of large container ship by using the SVM nonlinear regression model,and the effect is good.
